The moment people mention about BKK, the first thing that came in mind will be "SHOPPING".

However, we decided to bring our kids for this trip after some researching.

We were very lucky, managed to book the air ticket for SGD100 per pax under FLYSCOOT.

HOTEL - THE BERKELEY PRATUNAM http://www.berkeleypratunam.com/

The location of the hotel was fantastic. Near to shopping mall. And every night there will be different night stalls set up below the hotel. Directly opposite the hotel, there is one whole stretch of food stalls. Chicken Rice, famous wanton mee, extra sweet mango sticky rice etc.

Only negative side is that there are always many "tuk tuk" or taxi waiting outside and pestering to ask you to take their cars. And they will begged you to follow them to some unknown shops for viewing so that they can earn some oil money. So please beware. :)

We chose the Luxury Corner Suite which came with 2 queen-sized beds, of 52 sqm. WOW! that's spacious. My kids simply love it.

And the hotel included a morning breakfast which we absolutely love!

FIRST STOP - SIAM OCEAN WORLD

From the hotel we took a taxi over which is quite cheap. Actually not far and walk-able, but with those kids, we decided to take a taxi instead.

We bought the ticket online from http://www.hotels2thailand.com/ because there was a promotion when we booked. Do check got this website for any promotion.

And we bought the package that comes with Glass Bottom Boat.

SECOND STOP : 4 FACE BUDDHA

My mother in law always got this believe in this god. She always tell us how 4 face Buddha in BKK help her and whenever we go BKK, we must go and pray.

So our house most important BOYS and MEN were there to pray for the ceremony.

THIRD STOP - DINNER AT BANGKOK RESTURANT

This was the second time that we sent back to Sky Restaurant. I would say that there are alot of varieties for us to choose. But seems like this place is getting more well-known hence it was quite crowded when we were there. Also, they have added in magician and balloon sculptor to entertain the guests.
