Malacca Trip with Drink, Drank, Drunk (25th to 26th June 2016)

Straight after our Kukup Trip, we cant bear to leave one another, therefore we planned for another nearby trip - 2D1N in Malacca. Suppose to have 9 of us, but baby Clarissa was sick, so Katty and Gavin couldnt join us. (Sad).

We charter the Van which we took in Kukup. So happy that we manage to get a special rate.

 The driver has different types of van, Our last trip we took a 13 seaters van which require us to get down during custom. But this time round we took the 10 seaters van, which drive through the custom. This makes our life easier and happier.

 The trip took about 3 hours to reach Malacca. Hence, the moment when we reached, we headed straight to NANCY'S KITCHEN for a Nonya Lunch.

Malacca is rich with centuries-old cultures, its most prominent one being the Peranakan. Hence, it is a must to try it. I would say that i am not a fan of Nonya food but the curry and the Kuehs really attract me.

 Specially recommend their Oneh - Oneh. Simply love it to max! The outer skin is really special and one bite, the Gula Melaka (Sugar from Coconut Tree) burst out! Really Good! It cost RM3.50 per box.

***** There is a bread shop next to Nancy, which sells very nice Pandan Kaya Cake, Green Tea Red Bean Swiss Roll, pastry and buns. Do drop by for some tasting and bring some back to eat.*******

After lunch, we need to check in to our Air BNB stay. As there are so many of us, and we like to stay all in the same house, we decided to book a bungalow from Air BNB. We were so excited when we reached the entrance of the bungalow.

 After checking in, its time for shopping, touring and massaging.

 And the highlight of our trip gonna be.... 1 hour queuing for the Cheese Bee Hoon! (Dinner)

The seafood - Really Fresh! Unique taste of the fresh milk crab and sweet vinegar fish. I feel worth trying, but some of my friends feel ok only. They would eat if the queue is not so long.

And 8 of us with the 7 dishes, rice and drinks below cost only RM418.00 (Definitely worth it)

Holiday always end very fast. The next morning after checking out, we went eating again! Come to think about it, our trip is always eating and drinking. LOL

Gonna stop awhile travelling with Drink, Drank, Drunk as my sister wally is 6 months preggy now, hence, cant travel le.. :(

Cant wait for more trip with them..................

27-28 May 2016 (2D1N Kukup Trip)

Together with my Drink, Drank, Drunk gang, we decided to go for a short trip. As you know la... One preggy, 2 mummies, we cant really go too long or too far. Hence, after a pretty long discussion, we choose 2D1N Kukup Trip. Just a trip for us to relax, eat and drink.

We booked the 2D1N package with GUAN HUAT KUKUP at SGD95.00 each inclusive of the transport and 6, yes 6 meals. Schedule as per below.

Day 1:

• 08:00am Pick-up point upon request in Singapore (We manage to ask for 2 pick up point) As some in east and some in north.
• 11:30am Lunch at Chalet
• 12:30pm Check in to chalet
• 03:30pm Tea Break
• 07:30pm Seafood BBQ Dinner
• 10:30pm Supper

Day 2:

• 08:00am Breakfast
• 09:30am Kelong Tour by Boat Ride
• 11:30am Check out
• 11:45am Lunch at Chalet
• 01:00pm Head home from Chalet

Free and Easy Activities:

• Chalet is equipped with Karaoke with more than 20,000 songs
• Mahjong/ Playing Cards are provided in chalet
• Chalet is wifi enabled
• Rod Fishing (rental of fishing rods at own cost)

This chalet can accommodate up to 45 people. Look at the spacious living room. We really WOW when we saw it. *Our minds were thinking Kukup must be a shabby place.* Hehe.

There were not 2 but 4 toilets for 9 of us. We were so happy as there is no need to fight for toilets.

And this is our bedroom for the night. There are total of 5 rooms inside this chalet, but we only asked them to open 2 rooms as there are only 9 of us.

After settling down, we had our lunch at about 1.30pm. And here's our lunch.

Being a non-fish lover, i would say this fish is really NICE! Fresh !! The thai sauce - i super love ! Bought a big bottle home too.

After lunch we decided to start our activities.... Here comes the MJ kings & Queens.

And about 3.45pm, its tea break time.. Thought we just had our lunch... WHAHAHHAA

The famous prawn cracker. But i think i had a nicer ones few years back in the other KUKUP Chalet. 

And we were all back to MJ and Singing KTV. There was supposed to be a Boat tour to Kelong, but since my sister is preggy, we decided to skip that and go for a massage. 

And at about 6.30pm, its dinner time. We have been eating and eating. Complaining about fat and why we keep eating, but when we saw the food, we cant resist again. And started to eat again! Yes... AGAIN.

Dinner consist of BBQ items and home-cooked food. 

After dinner, its our drink, drank, drunk session.

Bought a carton and we cant finish it.. LOL

As this was Katty first time here, we told her that in KUKUP, the main good thing is that we can play fireworks. And she bought one and tried.

At about 9.30pm...... its supper time. This time round is porridge, eggs and some canned food.

I skipped that as I was really very full.

DAY 2

The next morning Breakfast was really a good one. We have so much to choose. Being a greedy pig, i tried everything on the table.

And this was about 8 plus that we took this. And shortly after....... its lunch time again at 11.30pm. 

FOOD! FOOD! FOOD!

Come to KUKUP, there are 2 things that we need to buy back. And true enough, we bought them.

And headed back to Singapore. It was a fun and gathering trip for the 9 of us. Shall plan another trip soon! :)
